How to Apply

Contact St. Elizabeth School of Nursing and request an application or apply online. Please view the admissions requirements here. You will need:

  • 1 official high school transcript
  • 1 official transcript from each college you have attended
  • Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) admission test passed at the Proficient level

*TEAS EXEMPTION: A student applying for admission is EXEMPT from the TEAS requirement if he/she is: A recent high school graduate within three (3) years with a high school GPA of 3.5 or above AND a Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) score of 1000 combined on Evidence-Based Reading and Writing (EBRW) and Math or an American College Test (ACT) composite score of 22. Or, a student with college transfer credit of 30 or more hours completed AND a transfer GPA of 3.3 or above.

Transfer
Information

Students seeking to transfer from another educational institution are considered for admission on an individual basis. Applicants seeking advanced credit for nursing courses taken at another institution must submit an Official Academic Transcript to St. Elizabeth School of Nursing including course descriptions for all nursing courses completed and a letter from the previous school indicating the student’s status at the time of withdrawal. Admission consideration will be given when all materials are received.

Credit by Exam

The School of Nursing offers a credit by examination option for clinical nursing courses. The evaluation is on an individual basis and will include theory-equivalency examinations and evaluation. The applicant seeking credit by examination must abide by admission policies. For specific information, contact the School of Nursing Admissions Office.

Financial Aid

Nearly 90% of all students who enter St. Elizabeth School of Nursing rely on some financial aid to help pay for costs. To be considered for federal aid, the student must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) available at www.fafsa.gov. The student must first obtain a FSA User ID here. Parents of dependent students will also need to request an FSA User ID before completing the online FAFSA form. Contact us for more information about financial aid.
