The vaccine and health related requirements for our program are based upon our clinical agency’s requirements. A list of the vaccines and other requirements is attached. Currently, Franciscan Alliance does not require Covid vaccinations or exemptions, but the flu shot is required. Some of our clinical agencies require Covid vaccination or an approved religious or medical exemption. Seeking an exemption would be with the individual clinical agency not the School of Nursing. If the clinical agency declines the request, progression in the program is limited. Fortunately, we have been able to maneuver clinical groups to avoid this situation, but it is not guaranteed.
