The St. Elizabeth School of Nursing has selected Lilly Moor and Shay Oakley as recipients of the Loeb Scholarship. Moor is a 2018 graduate of Tri-West High School in Lizton, Ind. Oakley is a 2018 graduate of Fountain Central High School in Veedersburg, Ind.
The Loeb Scholarship was established in 2017 to provide a $1,000 merit scholarship for up to eight semesters to an outstanding applicant to the Registered Nursing Diploma-Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) of St. Elizabeth School of Nursing-University of Saint Francis Cooperative Nursing Program.
Students who meet certain criteria are invited to apply for the scholarship by the St. Elizabeth School of Nursing. The Administrative Council then reviews high school GPA and SAT/ACT scores for high school students or college GPA for transfer students. As part of the application and review process, applicants are also required to submit essays describing how they plan to live out the St. Elizabeth School of Nursing’s mission while enrolled in the program.
